1) How can I know which size of crane truck would be the right one for me?
You have to know the weight of the goods which have to be lifted as well as the distance from the centre of the fifth wheel of the crane truck and the height of the crane truck floor to the floor of the loading

2) What is the centre of the “fifth wheel” and why is it so important?
The centre of the fifth wheel is the centre of the arm rotation, and that is the right place for calculating the distance of the crane truck, 3 meters from the fifth wheel.

3) What does crane truck from … tonnes mean?
The loading capacity, commercially called “the size” of a crane truck is uniquely determined by the maximum lifting capacity of the crane truck 3 metres from the fifth wheel.

4) What is a flow chart?
It’s a chart that, knowing the working radius and the length of the crane truck arm, gives you the loaing capacity of the mean. The loading capacity imposed by the security regulation is 75% max which the crane truck can lift, and it’s given by the sum of the weights and the load of the harness and the hook block .

1) What’s the difference between front lifts, telescopic forklifts and rotations carts?
It depends on the technical features (capacity, engine, handling on the ground, ect.)the front lift can only lift/low the forks vertically. The telescopic forklift has an arm like a crane truck which can fold the forks remotely too. The rotation cart is like the telescopic forklift, but can also turn around the fork arm by 360 gr, on this it’s possible to add many kind of accessories instead of the forks, such as: trellis extensions, fixed hooks, lifting winches, and baskets for lifting people.

2) Can I use a warehouse forklift on a construction site?
A warehouse forklift is made for working on a smooth flooring, a construction site has usually a rough terrain and therefore it would pit. It’s better to use a specific forklift for outdoor work which is able to move and work on all kind of land area.

1) I have to move a machinery which weigh is 30 tonnes in my warehouse, which kind of crane truck do I need?
Moving machinery is always a complex matter (height of the shed, encumbrance) it needs to be checked by a technician before lifting. Our company is equipped with teams of specialists in this sector, with the use of specific equipment (self-propelled cranes, diesel and electric, hydraulic jacks, ect.) all kinds of machinery within narrow spaces, such as workshop and manufacturing facilities within sheds can be moved.

1) How do I choose a platform?
First of all you have to know on which height and distance you are going to work. Knowing this, we’ll be a to give you the correct mean and then decide if self-propelled or truck.

2) Which differences are there between a self-propelled platform and a truck?
The self-propelled doesn’t need to be stabilized in order to work on it, it has movements controlled by the work basket. The truck is usually placed on a vehicle which allows the transfer, and when arrived to the working place, it’s necessary to stabilize it, in order to be able to work with it, this is done by placing the platform where you are going to work and to lift the engine on four hydraulic feet.

3) Why do self-propelled platforms as well as truck exist?
As the self-propelled doesn’t need to be stabilized it’s much more flexible in using but it’s necessary to transport it on a lowered articulated vehicle the rental cost of which is only justified if used for a medium/long period.
For short term rental it’s more convenient using a truck, which is, for most of them, possible to drive with a B driving licence.

4) Why do platforms for indoor as well as outdoor use exist?
For work for example in a warehouse, it isn’t possible to use platform with endothermic engines as the exhausting smoke would be unbreathable within short, and therefore we use electric handling platforms with rechargeable batteries.
